Very tough test of the Taronja streak with the visit of Unicaja to La Fonteta

Valencia Basket men's team faces its only home game which it will be the second of a series of five games in ten days to host Unicaja (Sunday 28, 6:30 p.m., Fonteta, Movistar Plus+) in a game that closes round 20 of the Endesa League.

 

The Taronja team will need the encouragement of its fans to try to extend a dynamic that is four wins in a row after the wear and tear of the game on Friday night in Vitoria but with the morale boost of the solid win against the Baskonistas, conceding only 62 points.

 

With the previous experience of having been the only team capable of winning in the Martín Carpena this season and even though the general balance is favorable to Valencia Basket, Unicaja has emerged as a dangerous rival by taking the victory in four of his last six visits to Fonteta.

 

With the only confirmed absence of Bouba Touré due to back problems that have made him miss the Taronja team's last games, coach Álex Mumbrú will have to leave out two other non-formal players (one of them necessarily non-EU) to complete the roster.

 

Valencia Basket begins this round in fourth position in the acb with a balance of 12-7, so a win would allow it to close its distance with the Malaga team to two games.
